Terms of Use

This site is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. These terms apply when you visit, consult, or use the guidance on this site. App purchases, accounts, and payments are also subject to the applicable App Store rules. Before taking action, read the guidance relevant to your situation.

1. Scope and nature of the content

This site provides guidance on verifying the official app, purchasing and installing it, importing subscriptions, managing configurations, and troubleshooting. The manual explains how to use the app and what settings mean; it does not guarantee any particular network, server, or outcome. Example addresses and rules are for instructional purposes only and are not ready-to-use connection services.

App interfaces and system prompts may vary by device, operating system, and app version. Before following an instruction, check the current interface to confirm what you are acting on. Save any necessary information before deleting, replacing, or resetting anything. If the manual differs from the actual purchase terms, the App Store listing and the information shown at purchase take precedence.

2. Responsible use and user responsibilities

When using Shadowrocket and this site, you must comply with the laws and regulations applicable where you are located and to your activities, as well as the requirements governing the networks, devices, and services you use. Do not use them for unlawful purposes, use configurations to violate another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights, or access or interfere with another person’s systems without permission.

Make sure you are entitled to use any imported subscription, server information, or configuration file, and assess whether its source and intended use are appropriate. Get subscription links from your service provider. Before sharing logs, screenshots, or configurations, remove passwords, access credentials, subscription links, and other sensitive information to prevent unauthorized access to your connections.

3. App purchases and service limits

Shadowrocket is a paid commercial app for Apple platforms, primarily used on iPhone and iPad, and is available exclusively through the App Store. Before purchasing, verify the app by checking the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, and app ID 932747118. The App Store listing is the authoritative source for price, system requirements, device compatibility, and applicable purchase terms.

A one-time purchase of the app does not include a network service plan. Purchasing the app grants the right to use the client; it does not include connection services. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscription services. Payments, refunds, and restoration of previous purchases must be handled through the appropriate App Store processes. Reading this site does not create any additional transaction or service commitment.

4. Availability and limitation of liability

Access to this site, app connections, and network services may be affected by system permissions, network conditions, configuration details, and server status. This site does not guarantee that its guidance will work in every environment, that the site will remain continuously available, or that a configuration will connect successfully. To the extent permitted by law, this site is not liable for service interruptions, misuse of configurations, data loss, or resulting damages.

Back up any necessary information before updating, deleting, reinstalling, or switching devices. An app purchase record is not a substitute for backing up personal configurations. These terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, nor do they reduce any consumer rights provided by law.

5. Intellectual property and use of content

The Shadowrocket trademark, app, and related software rights belong to its developer or the respective rights holders. The official icon and interface materials shown on this site are used to identify the product and explain its operation. Their display does not transfer any related rights to visitors.

When quoting content from the manual, comply with applicable law and retain necessary attribution. Do not remove or alter key conditions in a way that could mislead, or publish unverified claims in this site's name. Use of the app and materials is also subject to the applicable licenses and rights requirements.

6. Changes to these terms and issue resolution

These terms may be revised to reflect content or service changes or legal requirements. Revisions will be published on this page, and the month shown at the top will be updated. Revised terms apply to website use from the date of publication. Where the law requires separate notice or specifies an effective date, those requirements will apply. We recommend reviewing the terms again before taking important action.

For help with an issue, first consult the user guide and its troubleshooting section, then check the settings against the steps that led to the issue. To report an error on this site, identify the relevant page and describe the problem. Do not include personal connection credentials in your report.
